CZARNOKSIĘŻNIK OZ (Lyman Frank Baum)

In the surprising circumstances Dorothy and her faithful bow-wow Toto find their way to the Land of Oz, full of wizardry. They travel on to encounter a number of colorful persons, who are helping them to proceed in their magical tour. They all are looking for wisdom, heart and courage, trying to find their way back home. The story of the girl shows that what we want is very near, yet often we are just not ready to see it. The stark stage design causes that the Munchkin Country or the dense forest the brave characters are struggling through must be created by spectators themselves in their own imagination. The picture of the world, with the Emerald City as its pivotal point, is also painted by means of the colorful, fairy-tale costumes and the expressive choreography performed by the Chorea Theatre group.
