PIPPI POŃCZOSZANKA (Astrid Lindgren)

Accompanied by a gang of acrobat pirates, Pippi Longstocking travels the length and breadth of Poland during the vacation time. You can meet her in a circus tent, which turns into the Fun Villa in the summer. The ginger-haired little girl with plenty of imagination and ideas will not sit upright at the table, sleeps with her feet on the pillow and dislikes being told whatever to do. Self-reliant, brave and strong, she still misses her parents a lot. The authors of this circus and music show take up the subject of a child’s place in society, asserting its rights to preserve its individuality and make its own decisions. At the same time, they wish to remind the grownups of their all-important role in the process of the development of their kids’ identity.
