Based on “Moko Moko Moko” by Shuntarō Tanikawa.
An extraordinary journey, full of movement, sounds, and surprises, inspired by Shuntarō Tanikawa’s picturebook “Moko Moko Moko”.
On stage, you won’t find a traditional story with characters and a plot. Instead, mysterious shapes and forms will appear, which grow, change, disappear, and sometimes… explode! Actors and actresses bring them to life with movement, voice, and sound, inviting children to join in the fun of discovering what might happen next.
The performance is simple in its form, yet it leaves immense space for children’s imagination. There’s no need to know one correct answer or understand everything “like an adult” – you can watch, listen, laugh, wonder, and add your own meanings.
“Moko Moko Moko” is an encounter with the stage where movement, sound, and image become their own language. Repetition and surprise help the youngest audience members focus their attention, observe changes, and discover that theater can tell stories even without words.
This is a proposition for those who want to show children that anything is possible in the theater.
A performance without words.
