The Black Terry Gang

Based on the text by Justyna Bednarek.

“The Black Terry Gang” is another serving of unruly and wonderfully wacky sock stories, known to young readers (and audiences of the Pinokio Theatre in Łódź) from Justyna Bednarek’s book series.

This time, the key to the story is an adventurous, surprising sea voyage, during which the titular Black Terry collects lost socks and forms her own on-board gang. Instead of sulking, being sad, and complaining about their fate in the laundry basket, each of them decided to find their purpose and simply be themselves. Even without a pair.

We will reach for the stars and explore underwater nooks, ask questions, or say: this makes absolutely no sense. Because in every basket or drawer with socks, there’s a bit of a lack of sense (and certainly order), but there’s also more than one adventure hidden within. You just have to look a little deeper.
