We have brought awards from another festival!

The 4th International Puppet Theatre Festival “Classics Re-Imagined” in Będzin, organized by the Zagłębie Children’s Theatre named after Jan Dorman, brought us exceptional reasons for joy. Our production “Animal Farm,” based on George Orwell’s novel and directed by Gabriel Gietzky, was honored with the main award from the Children and Youth Jury. This is a special distinction for us – all the more valuable as it was awarded by young viewers who perceive theatre with extraordinary sensitivity and sincerity.

We are also immensely pleased with the individual acting awards: Piotr Pasek was honored with the award for best male role, and Ewa Wróblewska – for best female role. This acknowledges the work, passion, and commitment behind every performance.

The festival, organized by the Dorman Theatre, was not only an opportunity for us to meet inspiring creators but also a space for important discussions about theatre and its contemporary interpretations of classics.

Due to the friendship of the jury members with the Pinokio Theatre in Łódź, after each presentation, we requested our performance to be excluded from the competition, ensuring full transparency. Therefore, the decision of the Children and Youth Jury, which chose to recognize our work, moves us even more.

Thank you for this distinction and for every encounter with the audience.
